Do you have an electrode wire for induction relays?
Do you have an electrode wire for induction relays?
Yes! Although, Boshart does not offer Type TW or THW 18 AWG wires which BW Controls' instructions suggest: “Size 18 or larger Type TW or THW wire is recommended for connection to the relay.”
Suitable Alternative:
Boshart does however, have a suitable alternative. We carry Type TWU tracer wire; however, we do not sell lighter gauge wire than 14 AWG, which is suitable for the electrode application given the “size 18 or larger” suggestion by BW Controls.
We offer both 7-Strand or solid variations which is up to the customers preference:
TWU14-WHI 14(7B)60C/-40C 300M WHITE
TWU14S-WHI 14(1B)60C/-40C 300M WHITE
TW Tracer Wire - TW wire stands for a thermoplastic, water-resistant wire.
THW Tracer Wire - THW wire is also a thermoplastic, water-resistant wire, but it is also heat resistant, denoted by the H in the name.
TWU Tracer Wire - TWU is also a thermoplastic, water-resistant wire used for both tracer wire and underground feeder wire applications.
