Industrial Well Cap

What is a conduit seal used in industrial spool pitless unit well caps?

The conduit cable seal is an optional component. It consists of a top and bottom plate, a rubber gland, and hardware. They provide a watertight/vermin proof barrier between the conduit and the well chamber, ensuring no contamination can enter. All seals are provided with four cable holes which are compatible with a wide selection of pump cables ranging from 14 gauge through 4/0 heavy-duty pump cables. Two additional holes are provided in the top and bottom plates to allow easy field modification or to add additional sensor cables through the seal.

All seals can be easily converted to have three cable holes for two wire pump installations by inserting a provided stainless-steel pin into one of the cable holes. This will seal off the hole when the rubber gland is compressed by tightening the bolts.
