Level Alarms

How do I identify which liquid level alarm I have? What replacement float switch do I need?

The diagrams below provide a visual identification of all the liquid level alarms Boshart has sold over the years. The first alarm had a beige/cream colored metal enclosure and a 115 volt float switch circuit. This was replaced in approximately 2005 with the 801 series.  The 801 series had a black metal enclosure and a low voltage float switch circuit. In 2014, we upgraded to include a battery backup and auxiliary contacts. The updated 850 series had a black plastic enclosure. At the end of 2022, the factory producing this alarm advised that they were discontinuing it and we are currently in the process of transitioning our inventory to the latest LLA-H and LLA-L versions. These will start shipping as the older version is cleared out of stock.

The link below provides a detailed comparison of the 850 vs the LLA alarms. While there are some dimensional differences and slight variations, the new alarm provides all the same functions.
