Pipe insertion depths for BOSHART BPF and SSPF Push-fit fittings varies depending on the material size of the fitting. The insertion depths are detailed in the chart below.

The stiffener (Pipe Support Insert) required for PEX / PE-RT / HDPE pipe installations adds approximately 1/16" to the pipe length. This must be taken into consideration when making the insertion depth marking on PEX / PE-RT or HDPE pipe.
