Pressure Snubber

What are some applications for a pressure snubber?

PRESSURE SNUBBERS APPLICATIONS:

Pressure snubbers are installed up-stream or ahead of pressure sensing instruments to protect them from rapid pulsations or shocks that damage and wear the delicate components within the device.

The snubbers use brass elements which are suitable for a wide range of media: oil, water, light oil, air or other gases.

Use pressure snubbers to increase the life expectancy of:

  • Pressure Gauges
  • Pressure Switches
  • Transducers
  • Diaphragm Gauges
  • Manometers

Snubbers can increase an instrument’s useful life by a factor of ten or more in some instances - greatly reducing maintenance and calibration costs.
