What are some applications for a pressure snubber?

Pressure snubbers are installed up-stream or ahead of pressure sensing instruments to protect them from rapid pulsations and/or shocks that damage and wear the delicate components within the device.

The snubbers use brass elements which are suitable for a wide range of media: Oil, Water and Light Oil, Air or Other Gases

Use Pressure Snubbers to increase the life expectancy of:

  • Pressure Gauges
  • Pressure Switches
  • Transducers
  • Diaphragm Gauges
  • Manometers

Snubbers can increase an instrument’s useful life by a factor of ten or more in some instances - greatly reducing maintenance/calibration costs.
