We can supply check valves with heavy 2, 5, 10, 20, & 30 PSI cracking pressures. They are Model 816 and 816FL Ward check valves by Flomatic Corporation. Model 816 and 816FL check valves are now available in ¼” – 2” and threaded 1” – 2” ANSI 150 Class Flanged.

The Ward valve is widely specified and used by beverage, food, water, heating, and chemical processing industries (CPI). These valves feature a special patented sealing system. The sealing plunger features an angled elastomer disk totally encapsulated in Teflon®, which protects the seal from the conveyed medium. This design produces positive shut-off at both low and high back pressure. They are rated 150 W.S.P up to 450 degrees F. These unique valves have superior flow characteristics with an angle-seat design which keeps fluids flowing with minimal obstruction and a long service life. Independent laboratory data confirm that the Ward valve has CV values equal or superior to competitive check valves.
