Do Flow Controls have a weight load rating for installing in a submersible pump column?

Yes & no!

Only the Flomatic CD900 Series "Flo-Trol®" Constant Flow Control Valves, manufactured with strong 316 stainless steel valve bodies have “Maximum Recommended Pump Setting Depth” ratings!

The nickel-plated brass “EATON-DOLE” flow regulators do not have any weight load ratings!

The chart below provides the data on the maximum depth of the pump setting when using the FLO-TROL® constant flow control valves which will support weight of pump column in a vertical well, submersible pump installation.

NOTE: If the recommended max pump setting is not sufficient for a given system, the Flo-Trol® could be installed a couple hundred feet down the pump column to offset the additional pump set depth.
