Level Alarms

Can I install one float control switch to operate two high water alarm panels in different locations?

Yes, a single float control switch can be wired to send signals to two alarm panels in different locations. This can be done by splicing in a second set of wires on the float switch with one set of black and white wires going to each of the alarm panels.

This arrangement can be beneficial if there is limited room in the tank or pit to accommodate a separate float switch for each alarm, which may result in entanglement of the extra switch cords.

You can extend the wires up to a maximum length of 700 feet if required.
