Are the SSBV1000 and SSBV2000 316 stainless steel ball valves steam rated?

Are the SSBV1000 and SSBV2000 316 stainless steel ball valves steam rated?

No, neither series SSBV1000 nor SSBV2000 316 S.S. ball valves are steam rated. They are pressure rated at 1000 and 2000 WOG only. Nor does our 304 SS (SSBV304 series) have a steam rating.

WSP Rating: Working steam pressure (WSP) indicates the maximum steam pressure that a ball valve can withstand at the highest temperature rating.

NOTE: Steam rated valves require that the steam rating is permanently marked on the valve body casting. There are 3 common steam ratings 125 WSP, 150 WSP or 250 WSP. The term WSP is more common, however it may also be expressed as 125 SWP, 150 SWP or 250 SWP (steam working pressure).
