CRN

Who should I contact for confirmation of CRN (Canadian Registration Number)?

The CRN (Canadian Registration Number) system is the Canadian method of reviewing and

registering the design of pressure vessels, piping systems and the fittings used to make them.

Your Boshart Customer Service Representative will be able to facilitate inquiries regarding CRNs

(Canadian Registration Numbers) working closely with our QA / Certifications department to
provide documentation confirming the product in question has current / valid registration by TSSA.

Why is it best to go through our Customer Service department?

Involving your Customer Service Representative in your CRN inquiry ensures that your request is handled efficiently and without delay. They can quickly determine whether a request is technical or non-technical and route the request to the appropriate team member(s) and department(s). The added layer of communication provides confidence that no inquiry will be overlooked, and the proper departments are engaged.

Providing the seven pieces of information listed below will significantly improve the response time, and your customer service experience.

  1. The brand of part, identification marks, part / model number (series of the product) for which the CRN inquiry is for.
  2. The name of the company or contact person making the inquiry.
  3. Name of company the product in question was purchased from.
  4. Location and address of the branch or job site.
  5. Telephone number(s)
  6. E-mail address
  7. Supporting photos will make it much easier to determine the brand of product in question.
