      What types of piping can BOSHART BPF and SSPF Push-Fit fittings be used with?

      BOSHART BPF and SSPF Push-Fit fittings are designed for use with piping systems made to copper tube size (CTS) certified for use wtih:

      • Copper pipe hard drawn Type K, L and M and annealed Type M not to exceed 3/8 nominal, complying with ASTM B88. WARNING: These fittings can not be used soft copper or rolled copper!
      • PEX pipe manufactured in compliance with ASTM F876 or CSA B137.5 standards.
      • CPVC pipe manufactured in compliance with ASTM D2846 or CSA B137.6 standards.
      • PE-RT pipe manufactured in compliance with ASTM F2769 standards.
      • HDPE pipe manufactured in compliance with ASTM D2737 (SDR-9) standards.
