What is a conduit splitter used in industrial spool pitless unit well caps?
The WTCL-CS40-2010 conduit splitter provides a means to run the sensor wire in a separate conduit from the submersible pump power cable. Separation is required to eliminate electrical interference issues which would occur if the sensor and power feed cables were run side by side through a single conduit.
The splitter is threaded into the 4” FPT conduit connection on the 10", 12”, and 14” premium cast iron watertight well caps and splits the 4” conduit connection into two conduit connections, one 2” FPT for the power cable and one 1” FPT for the pressure transducer or sensor cable.
