What filter wrench will work on the discontinued VIH filter housings?

Unfortunately, we can no longer provide the blue filter wrench that was included in the discontinued VIH filter housing kits, part numbers 14HK-V10B-07 (Blue Bowl) and 14HK-V10C-07 (Clear Bowl).

The good news is that we can offer a viable solution, it is not a “perfect fit,” however it will fit the VIH filter bowls.

You will need to order the Slim-Line Filter Wrench, part number 14FHPT-SLFW. It works on the bowls which have a smaller diameter. However, the Slim Line wrench it will not engage as high up on the filter bowl as the original blue filter wrench for the VIH series as shown in the photo.

TIP: Consider purchasing two wrenches if you would like to have extra leverage to loosen the bowl for filter cartridge change out. See the article at the link below for additional information.
