What are dual inlet connections on 0865 and 08QTWH series Wall Hydrants?

Dual inlet connections are where a valve can be installed using either the external connection or the internal connection. This simply provides the installer with more installation options, making it more likely to have the right wall hydrant in the service truck when they get to a job site allowing them to use the existing supply line plumbing.

The diagrams below provide detailed cross sections of the three common inlet connections.
