TIPS

•  The adapter may be snug due to the O-ring compression seal. Do not grip with a pliers which will damage the plastic threads. Thread on a metal pipe fitting if you need to get a better grip to pull the adapter out. 
•  The use of a silicone O-ring lubricant approved for potable water applications can reduce the friction making the installation easier (wetting the O-ring with water can also be effective). NEVER USE PETROLEUM LUBRICANTS!
•  When the tee is partially inserted make sure to line up the brass alignment lugs on the tee with the slots on both sides of the PVC inlet / outlet of the tank. With the tee in proper alignment push the tee straight in till it bottoms out in the Quick connect socket.

With the tank tee installed you can continue with installing the pressure switch, pressure gauge, relief valve, boiler drain and making the line connections.
