Measuring to determine the stem length for a Wall Hydrant

To ensure you order the proper replacement stem assembly length, measure the length of tube from just behind the body flange to the hex. If it reads 10" then you have a 10" lawn faucet.

When measuring the stem itself to make sure you have the correct length, you must first compress the spring loaded plunger on the end and measure the total length. Then you subtract 3" to determine the size faucet it will fit.  A 13" total length stem will fit the 10" wall hydrant.
