Is there an 80-100 PSI pressure switch with Low Pressure Cut Out available?
There is no pressure switch available with “Low Pressure Cut Out” over the 60-80 PSI (PS02MDLP-6080 1/4" FPT 60-80 Medium Duty Low Pressure Switch)
The option to provide low pressure cut-out protection is to wire a second switch in series with a standard action 80-100 PSI pressure switch. Options include:
1. HUBBELL Brand PN. 69JG6: 1/4" FPT - Nema 1 80-100
2. TES Brand PN. 9013GHG2J30: 1/4" FPT 80-100 Heavy Duty
For Low Pressure Cut-Out there are two options.
Option #1 – Hubbell offers the GARD-IT® Part No. 69WC7Z12: 1/4" FPT - Gard-It 12 PSI - which can be adjusted to cut out between 3 PSI Min. and 20 PSI max. Therefore, the switch will not cut-out until the pressure drops 60 PSI below the cut-in pressure (traditional LP switches cut out when the pressure drops between 8 - 10 PSI below the cut-in pressure).
GARD-IT®
Wired in series with a conventional Furnas pressure switch. When failure of the water or air supply causes system pressure to fall considerably below the cut-in point of the regular pressure switch, the GARD-IT will disconnect the pump motor. When the water or air supply returns, the system is placed in automatic operation by depressing the manual reset lever until system pressure exceeds the GARD-IT cut off level.
Option #2 – More complicated - Hubbell offers the Reverse Action Series 69WR which can be adjusted as per the chart below. This switch would also need to be wired in series.
NOTE: The switch will need to be ordered with the reset lever so that the switch can be held in the start position until the system working pressure is reached after the low pressure problem has been corrected.
We stock the PN. 69WR5LZ5030: 1/4"FPT 50-30 Reverse -Auto Off “L” = lever. In this case the switch would cut out at 30 PSI, but it can be adjusted as per the chart below.

Reverse Action
Cut-in (close the contacts) on rising air or water pressure. Designed to ground ignition on gas driven pumps and compressors when desired maximum pressure is reached. Can also act as low pressure alarm or to prevent pump operation at low pressure. Reset lever optional.
