How do the MESH ratings of stainless steel well points compare to the SLOT size of PVC well points?

The chart below shows how the 60, 80, & 100 SS mesh ratings compare to the slot size ratings of PVC well points. The 60 mesh points are the equivalent to 0.010" slotted points. The 0.010" slot width is the finest screen available. Cutting the slots with thinner cutting blades is not possible, therefore when finer screening is required you need to select either an 80 or 100 mesh WP series SS well point.

Does Boshart sell slotted stainless steel well points?

No, Boshart does not stock or provide slotted type stainless steel well points on a special-order basis. These slotted (wire wrapped) stainless steel well points are manufactured and are available though some stainless steel well screen manufacturers. The diagram below shows the difference in construction between SS mesh / jacketed well points and the SS slotted type well points.
