GRAY MAGIC is an industrial grade thread sealant and is great for a wide range of applications.

GRAY MAGIC is an all-purpose, non-seizing, industrial grade, thread sealing compound that produces a leak-proof seal on all types of metal (including stainless steel) threaded connections. It is also suitable for plastics including ABS, PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and Nylon NPT threaded fittings. 

Features:

GRAY MAGIC is a smooth, grit free, completely homogenized, gray, industrial grade paste. It is an all-purpose, non-seizing thread sealing compound that produces a leak-proof seal.

GRAY MAGIC will not transfer any taste or odor to the system being sealed.  It is excellent for food and water systems.  

GRAY MAGIC will never harden and is an anti-galling compound making it possible to disassemble pipes and bolts easily after years of service. 

NSF/ANSI 14 Plastics Piping System Components and Related Materials approved.  

NSF/ANSI 61 Drinking Water System Components - Health Effects approved.  

Product is certified to NSF/ANSI 372 and conforms with the lead content requirements for “lead free” plumbing as defined by California, Vermont, Maryland, and Louisiana state laws and the U.S. Safe Drinking Water Act.

Meets CAN/ULC-S642-2010 (R2016), Standard for Compounds and Tapes for Threaded Pipe Joints.

Meets ANSI LC 7-2009 for Pipe Joint Sealing Compounds and Materials.

Meets International Fuel Gas Code 403.9.3 for Thread Joint Compounds.
